The Problem
Northbound needed poster art that could work as a single striking image but also flex across three color variants for different promotional phases, without losing a consistent identity.
The Process
I built the series around one geometric mountain-and-sun illustration, then explored the emotional range of the event through three palette variations — dusk orange, midnight navy, and warm sand — all sharing the same bold, condensed type treatment for instant recognition at a distance.
The Outcome
The poster series was used across the festival's city-wide print campaign and social promotion, and the mountain mark was later adopted as the festival's ongoing logo.
